Description
Karethic is an integrated value chain of production and marketing of shea products. Based in France through Terrethic and in Benin through Karethic Benin
Born in Benin in 2006 with the main objective to support women producers of shea butter from Benin (7 groups of 200 women), Karethic grew with fair trade and organic production as the first values.
Thanks to its willing to strengthen the role of women in the shea sector, preserve their environment and heritage (the shea tree) Karethic has been involved with the support of shea producers in the development of a production process in order to avoid refining and deodorization and preserve the active ingredients and the smooth texture of genuine shea butter . Premium unrefined Shea butter is the result of this work. The process of production of high quality unrefined shea butter is exclusively shared with groups of shea butter women producers from Africa.
