100 ml - Organic Virgin Oil obtained by maceration in sunflower oil at 10%
What is commonly called “Carrot Oil” is oil obtained by macerating carrots in Sunflower Oil. This enables the liposoluble properties present in carrots to be obtained by a process of “carry-over”, notably their precious provitamin A content, which gives it its characteristic colour and specific properties.
Properties: Macerated carrot oil produces a very powerful concentrate from the major active ingredients contained in carrots, beta-carotene, which is converted by living organisms into vitamin A. This vitamin offers the skin protection against the onslaughts of the sun. Carrot Oil also provides a large quantity of essential fatty acids, which nourish the skin and give it an attractive tanned appearance. This Carrot Oil reinforces the skin’s resistance and delivers a large amount of minerals. It is also an antioxidant and has healing and soothing benefits.
