Amla, or Indian currant, is a little tree growing all over India. It is a long life tree, considered noble by the Indian Ayurvedic culture.
It produces edible light green berries. Although all parts of the tree have medicinal qualities, the fruit is mostly used for its high concentration in vitamin C and its strong anti-oxydant properties.
Alma oil is mainly used for hair care.
